Biography Dr Chris Oosthuizen is a distinguished Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon with over a decade of national and international surgical experience. His adult practice is primarily focused on the surgical management of Nasal and Sinus conditions including all aspects of Rhinoplasty surgery. Credentials: Dr Oosthuizen is a fully accredited, specialist surgeon with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He has been awarded a College Fellowship, Australia’s highest surgical qualification. He is also a Fellow of one of the oldest and most prestigious Surgical Colleges in the world, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (founded in 1784). During the 15 years dedicated to medical and surgical training he also elected to pursue a Master’s degree in advanced surgical practice from Cardiff University, Wales. Pioneer In Surgical Practice: Dr Oosthuizen is a pioneer in modern surgical practice. His research has been published in some of the world’s leading peer-reviewed medical journals including The Lancet. He has also had the opportunity to present his research at numerous national and international scientific meetings. University Senior Clinical Lecturer: Appointed as a senior lecturer at the University of Queensland, Dr. Oosthuizen is involved in the lecturing, training and supervision of medical students, junior doctors and training registrars.
