Simon Carney is Professor of ENT Surgery at Finders University. He has authored over 100 full publications (the vast majority in Q1 journals, including the BMJ and JAMA), 11 book chapters, 2 surgical dissection manuals and has received numerous awards for his contribution to ENT research and teaching. He continues to spend much of his time trying to make the future of ENT better, being the President-elect of the South Australian ENT Society, immediate Past-President of the ANZ Rhinologic Society, Vice-Chairman and start-up Director of the not-for-profit Asia-Pacific Otolaryngology Surgical Training and former Chair of the Education & Training sub-committee of the International Symposium on Inflammation and Allergy in the Nose.
